Hi All, Am an ICT working in Canada and my Closed WP extension is just submitted. It seems WP extension is going to take another 2 months but I will probably get and ITA in a month (completing 1 year points). Can I accept the ITA and submit the application or need to wait for WP extension to complete.

Our CRS score is 445 and We entered the Pool on Nov 28 2018 12:15 AM...I know as per the Tie Breaking rule, the last candidate will be the one with CRS 445 entered the pool on Oct 22nd 2018.
But, we have only 3 and half months for our points to go down by 5 points if we don't get the ITA by then..
So, is there any chance of getting ITA for CRS 445 by march 20th 2019 ? Please advise
is there a deadline to decline invitation? I'm waiting for non-criminal history proof for multiple countries and afraid it might not arrive within 60 days. Would I still be able to decline invitation when the days left to submit is 10?

If you cannot get a police certificate in time
If you’re invited to apply, you have 60 days to submit your application for permanent residence. If you do not have all your police certificates by the 60-day deadline, you have 2 options:
Option 1: Decline your invitation to apply
Your profile will go back in the pool. Depending on your score, you may be invited to apply again.
Option 2: Prove you applied for the police certificate
In very rare cases, we may accept both a letter of explanation and proof that shows you made your best effort to get a police certificate on time.
You can upload this in the country-specific police certificate field of your document checklist. Examples of proof:
a confirmation receipt
a payment receipt
a delivery notice
a tracking number
An officer will review your application. If they’re not satisfied that you made your best effort, your application may be rejected for being incomplete.
Seeing the CRS skyrocketing in the past few months, I’m glad to have admitted to a master’s. Will be back with +40 in 2020. In the mean time, it would be great if OINP HCP will start again in Jan 2019
I was looking at previous CRS trends.. and on October 3, 2018 when the score was 445..... after that on October 15, 2018 the score was 440..
just want to understand why can't this be repeated again? The competition was high all through the year.... so even now the competetion is high which is understandable and not new

401-45030,101 441-450673 The people in the 441-450 range was just 673 while now they are more than 1800 ...as much as i want the crs to dip down, it is highly unlikely that it will go down unless there is a draw after 12 days..even i am sitting on 441 and rethinking about giving ielts again and will hopefully increase some points

Will wait till January if we get any luck in December (lesser gaps between draws) otherwise will give ielts another try..actu actually it gets very difficult to prepare for exam along with the job..anyways good luck to you too..whats your crs?
