Hi, very well said, but over for me. As turning 41 this January with master degree + Ielts score (8.5, 8, 8,8), score418. No scope for further increase the score.
It's a good thing I randomly checked the forum today or i would have wasted another day. Finally got an ITA, three months before my application expires (December 20th). Strangely enough, no email. Had to log into my CIC account to check.
If French is second language, you may start claiming points with CLB 5 (although only 1 point per ability with CLB5 or 6).
CLB 7 or 8 is 3 points per ability, and CLB 9+ is 6 points per ability. (And you get 30 points more if you score CLB 7 or higher on all four French language skills).
So, learning French is a good way to improve score.
To gain 4 points (1 per ability), you only need CLB 5, as second language
It is a good option considering the high competition in the pool this year. I know that it is not a fast way to claim more points, but it helps at the end.

Don't think twice, just start taking French lessons. Make profile on duolingo.com and practice. Join whatsapp groups. I saw lots of Indians in French groups. You also have so many French Institute in India. Just go for it.
Hey don't forget to tag me whenever u find a good thread on AOR.
By the way, when r u gonna submit your application? I am waiting for 2 of my PCC. 2 done, 2 left.

I definitely will. Been searching for one since morning but couldn't find any lol.
Possibly next week, I only have POF pending and my bank will only issue a certificate on Monday or Tuesday since we have bank holiday here for the next 3 days Sucks lol
Don´t lose it! Read the anecdotes of many applicants that succeeded in increase their CRS. Try to maximize IELTS in case you haven´t (n-times), or start learning French (with CLB 5 you would add 4 points and that will bring you to 443). Cheer up!
