I have applied my AINP under employer driven international graduate category

Applied on 22nd Jan 2014
Acknowledgement received on 29th Jan 2014
work permit expired on 18th February
Sent paper application for bridging open work permit on Feb 14th 2014
application received by CIC on 17th Feb 2014.
Currently i am under implied status, yet to receive file number, and response for work permit.

Any suggestion under my criteria, what are my chances?

Finally AINP seems to be moving again two of my co-workers got file number from alberta today, we all still waiting for nomination...anytime between now and July...

We are in Edmonton area there is some of us applying under awe and two more under semi skilled, one more sadly got a rejection letter (because of low IELTS), but to have 4 file numbers in one day its definitely a very good sign...Time and patience...

Hello AKG,

AINP requested for additional documents on January 6th. I submitted the documents on January 28th and received my nomination on February 10th. The date on nomination letter was January 29th.

My nomination was immediately processed on receipt of additional documents.

Did u get ur bridging work permit with wrong address or u changed ur address now and bridging work permit has the old one?

The best advice is to call cic at this number and take their advice :1-888-242-2100. There is a case processing centre in Vegreville, alberta also. If u think is not far from ur place and u can drop the additional information there too.. Better to cal this no for right advice.

Hi! Am i reading this right? Could you apply bridging open work permit too under AINP? I thought you can only do it under CEC. Could you shed me some light please....

Hi Mumay fort,

As far as I know, any TFW and international student under PGWP, who have passed PR application to CIC, got their file number and their permits are expiring within four months can apply BOWP.
I'm not sure if they are under implied status if they can still apply for BOWP.
