I’ve submitted the outland spousal application for my wife yesterday in Canada Post and the package is currently in transit. It would reach the CPC – Mississauga on Monday (24th Jul 2017).
I was taking a re-look at the submitted documentation and realized I missed the following.
In the IMM5533E – document checklist, Page 8 – SIGNATURES, I missed to check the “Not Applicable” for below
3) Additional Dependent/Declaration
6) Use of representative form (IMM 5476) – if applicable
I didn’t check any boxes under those two bullets. Instead I should have checked the “Not Applicable”
Could you advise ?
- If this would make my package as incomplete and CPC office would return my package during their review
- Would it be advisable to send this page to be replaced along with a letter of explanation and send another post to CPC office or would it make it confusing if I send the second post ?
The other option I see is to wait for review of the application and re-submit the corrected form if CIC returns my application. But it would delay my application.
Kindly advise if there is anything I could do to re-submit this page, so as not to delay my application.
