Hi There,
I have a clarification on the address that we put in the application for Police Clearance Certificate. If the address that we put in the application is in a state that is not in the Jurisdiction of that embassy where the PCC is requested, will they still process the request ? For example - Say I am staying in Seattle, (WA state) and Indian Embassy that serves this state is in San Francisco, California, however if I am visiting one of my friend in Houston where there is another Indian embassy, will the Houston embassy accept my documents with address and proof based on Seattle address ? I am thinking rather than sending all the documents via courier to embassy in SFO, why don't I give the documents in person to the Indian Embassy in Houston as I am visiting the city anyways.

Appreciate your help in advance. Thanks.

They wont accept documents. Embassy jurisdiction depends on your address in USA
