Today i had received my return package with CoPR & visa. It took overall 20 days for me to get my return canada post mail, return package activated yesterday, day before yesterday my travel document details got updated in CIC account and application status changed to completed.
Can anyone confirm whether we can take U turn to visit CBSA building as highlighted in the image without heading to US border gate? If yes, whether i have to follow the red arrow or blue arrow?
Yup, neither blue or red seems to go across the US border control station. You just need to wait in line for US entry, tell them you want to make U-turn for PR at Canada. US officials will show you the way to make the U-turn after you get the administrative refusal so there is no need to think about it beforehand. You also need to re-enter Canada and tell the agent you're there for landing so they will tell you where to park and which desk to go to at the immigration building.
But based on the link shared by @APPNOV2014NY, it appears that getting refusal letter from US border is the right way and works always, i will follow that approach itself. Please note, i dont have US visa anyway. I hope that will not create any issue for me during PR landing isnt?

Based on experience of couple of my colleagues , It will not create any issue you just have to tell them that you are there for PR landing , they will give you paper write names of all the people based on your CoPR and you have to just came back to canadian side and provide that paper ...
Thanks.

What is your country of origin and your filed of education? Have you traveled to a lot of countries? Stuff like that usually cause delays because they'll have to dig deeper into your profile. What you can do is contact CSIS directly and ask them about the status of the security screening. Have you tried doing that?
