My Medical went from “You passed the Medical exam” to “You do not need a medical exam” about 2 months ago. My meds expired in November.
Yesterday it suddenly went back to “You passed the medical exam”, so that represents the 1-year extension
Hey guys,
So I just sent my request for the Dutch Police certificate. I got an automated reply saying processing times are currently longer (4-8 weeks vs within 4 weeks normally). In the request letter I got from CIC it says they need to receive it within 60 days or "If this deadline is not met, your application will be assessed based on the information that was provided with your application and your application could be refused."
So, I guess I will have to contact them... Do I contact them right away or do I see if I'm lucky and get it within 4 weeks....?
What would you do?

If I were you, I would contact them right away via a web form, asking for an extension. Attach a copy of the email maybe in PDF, and a proof that you have requested the Dutch Police certificate, and explain in your message clearly why you need the extension. You don't know how long they will take to process your request so better to ask early on. Also, if they approve your request (which I think they will), you can still submit before the date that they will give you. If they deny (which I think they won't), at least you will be aware of it and be able to try to find a solution like asking for urgent processing of your certificate, if possible.

Good points. They do have a "urgent" option, but only for certain conditions, which I'm normally not part of. But they may make an exception.

Question: is it ok to land first in Toronto and stay there for a couple of days then travel to Gatineau or Montreal by land? Will there be any problem? Thanks in advance! God bless

Yeeeezzzz... So these guys at the Dutch Ministry of Justice are nice, they send their email in Dutch and English. But the part about the delay is only there in Dutch... I'll explain in my webform message I guess.. I can't even reply to the email I got... Cross your fingers for me...
Thank you poisonapple. My partner's relatives are in Toronto and planning to meet them and catch up with them for a few days before heading to Gatineau or Montreal (still undecided ). Hopefully we can find a place temporarily so we can provide the immigration that we are still heading to Quebec. Thanks again!
So in our Warsaw, Poland topic, someone got POVL yesterday.
Their medicine will expire on 23rd February, 2018. Good news.
Bad news, that my medicine will expire 20th February, 2018 and still have no DM.
Wrote a message to cic and received and answer, that my application is still checking.

My Gc key login updated with Document Number starting with Txxxxxxxxx and expirty date as end of Mar-2018. I think the return envelop will be activated tomorrow.
Can anyone please share me the phone number which you used to contact Montreal CIC office for PR landing appointment? Let me try my luck for the appointment, if they still say 4 months, then i have to try border crossing.
