What do you mean by "validate" your CoPR? Are you not a "landed" immigrant?

I am regularly checking that thread. No-one from Oct 2016 Inland group got DM/PPR this week in that forum.

What do you mean by "validate" your CoPR? Are you not a "landed" immigrant?

What I mean is I cannot go and flagpole or whatever procedure you want to choose to do after you receive your papers in the mail to finalize your status. Until that I am still just a regular temporary worker.

Hey I ordered GCMS Notes going back in Sept. Mine also stated that background didn't start. It had a completion date of October 31st on background check. But in the space of a month, I got sent out a Criminal record check to send finger prints to RCMP, and had my ECAS update to decision made. I was pretty surprised as I have travelled to a lot of countries over the years. So I thought it would take much longer than a month.

I suspect they start the process a long time back but do not update notes.

Anyways, long story short, it took about a month it seems according to my notes for background check

GCMS status you mentioned is same for most of late Oct or Nov applicants ... you will notice from GCMS either no one from Ottawa office -RC6262 looked at files or it's not updated on GCMS ....
