Just saw your signature. Interesting that you finished your landing formalities in Ontario even though you got PR as QSW. Did you face any issues at Border?

Edit: Here is the landing experience

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/terrible-landing-permit-processing-at-rainbow-bridge-niagara-falls.503301/

As mentioned in that long thread, I was at Niagara Falls for a holiday and I thought I would be a good idea to spend a couple of hour on the American side of the falls and do my landing procedure.
It was a very long and tiring experience as the wait times were crazy (7-8 hours). I would recommend going to a less busy port.

Ok I have received PPR/COPR, dated october 10th, but arrived in my email only today.
Great news!

How long after ECAS updated to decision made did you receive the PPR email? I am still waiting for the email and wondering how long it may take.

Thanks!

Decision Made was October 6th, the COPR email is dated october 10th, but I guess it was stuck somewhere until today. But Monday (Oct 9th) was a day off, so it seems like email was generated next working day after DM

Hi ahmed,

I have been there in the same situation and I ended up choosing No.3. For PNC, I attached my CSQ. It worked and I got my closed work permit

Thanks @srm057
I review all the possibilities if I choose the three different options : active pilot program, PNC and academic research.......
I found that the active pilot program is the least number of required documents......plus, the main application forms are same and the IRCC can just see what submit, they don't see my answer for these questionnaire.......I think choosing any of these option should be fine.

BTW inland applicants (well, outside Canada too!), the processing time for PR cards has jumped and is about 9 weeks instead of the quite usual 6 weeks at the moment (Service Canada told me when I visited this week, and it is also apparent at CIC processing times webpage). Just in case you were thinking about landing and then traveling outside Canada as the holidays are approaching... I will have to wait with landing if my COPR arrives this year because I'm going home for Christmas holidays. There's no time to get a PR card, and also in my case the processing time for PR travel document at my local visa office is longer than my holidays. I find it strange that one is suddenly stuck for another indefinite period of time just because becoming a PR and absolutely needing either the card or the travel document. With my current status (work permit, visa waived passport, eTA) I could come and go as I want to

Bcz, PR application is sent on Oct 2016, and i got medical on sept 2017. I made another application (work permit) on august and I did my upfront medical for this application and send with app package. Then after few weeks cic send me medical request with IME number for my PR application. So, i am having trouble sending medical for PR application. clinic told me that i can use this medical report for my PR application, and i should sent it to cic myself. i already send it through web form but no response yet. It is already 25 days.

Hi, Betula.

Yes, it is true that processing times have gone up. I just got mine this week, 55 days after landing. I completely understand your worries, and maybe it is best to play it safe. However, I think processing times will go down over the coming weeks. The amount of PR cards they have to give is obviously the same as the number of landings. It would seem that summer is the busiest time. Specially if people are bringing families, so that kids are able to enrol in school, and parents still have to time to "settle in" and look for work if needed. I think the amount of outland PRs landing in fall will be considerably less ... i hardly think they are eager to arrive just as winter is coming, when the school year was already started and there are fewer job opportunities (specially around christmas and early winter). We'll have to wait and see..

Best of luck!

Landing Experience at the US/Canada Border - St-Bernard-De-Lacolle - Hwy 15 POE office: it takes Only 5 minutes for the whole process, which is Surprisingly Fast!!!

Questions being asked:
1- Do you have anything (properties) you would like to import (claim) from you country while landing as PR in Canada?
2- How much $$ you have?
3- The two necessary questions on the CoPR; initial and Sign at the bottom.

Then the Officer said: all right, that's all about it!!! Go to the cashier to get a code for the car...
