Hi all,
I am concerned that my PPR is taking longer than normal. I am a US citizen applying from outside of Canada (currently residing in US).
My application was received by CIC on 30/05/2016, my police certificate was received by CIC on 04/11/2016, and my medical evaluation results were mailed to CIC 01/12/2016. My Permanent Residence Application Status on the Client Application Status tool reads: "We received your application for permanent residence on May 30, 2016. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 8, 2016. We started processing your application on September 8, 2016. Medical results have been received." It has had this same status since the beginning of February. If it matters, I haven't been able to link my application to a CGkey account (always get a message that they can't find it and I've tried everything), and technical support hasn't been helpful.
I understand that the next step is the PPR, and that other commenters have seen this come through about a month after the medical results were received. Should I be concerned that I haven't gotten the PPR yet? And, does anyone know of other steps I might have to go through before my visa is granted? Thank you!

Oh no, sounds like I might be in for a longer wait then.
I believe I'm being processed through the Sydney, NS office... how about you as an inland applicant? I wonder if that makes any difference?

I think mine is processed in Ottawa, because the RPRF request email is from Ottawa Visa Office.

Sorry, I'm not great with acronyms; what is an RPRF request?

Got it, thanks! I paid that at the outset when I submitted my application so it hasn't been on my radar. Thanks.

Dear,
It is really complicated with ADVO. Process time for my application is already over (Jan-2016), but still they did not start processing.
I send Specified case enquiry and have same answer (File remain active processing Queue. At this time we are unable to provide any specific timeframes as to when this application may be finalized. Please note that files are processed on a first come first served basis).
what to do? :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

Amit
