Hello everyone...just wanted to know your views on my case.
I have completed my medicals successfully since the 8th Feb. Visa office asked for some proofs on my relationship with my wife which I did immediately. They wanted to prove that my wedding is not a fake wedding. Until now still in process. What are your views? Why this question arrives late after medicals.
Hi Everyone,
I checked my application status on MyCIC and it says "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes." Does this really mean I don't need a medical exam? or I do not medical exam at this time?

When CIC says "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes." what they really mean is that "You do need a medical exam, we will send you message once we want you to take medical exam"
I figured. Thanks AppNov. I'm always looking at your profile to know if you already received MR.

I have gone through these steps and I submitted my Fingerprints/Police Clearance back in November 2016 and waiting for decision. If you submitted yours on 27th Feb, I would say give it at least 6 months according to their current speed.
Thank you tathspts !
6 months is a really loooong time..

I just found out that one of the stages in application at this stage is for Canadian Government to validate all security clearances with all Foreign Governments involved. This is a very time consuming process and usually takes longest time.. I am thinking most of people who have done their medicals are in this step and hence the long wait..

Thank you. You mean this year 2017 or it was always like this.

If that was the case , then how come EE people receive PPR in 6 months.

I guess the lawyer didn't find any other better way to keep you wait...
How come some people are getting MR in 10 days of AOR and some for several months? Is it dependent on visa office? Or the medicals are not needed for those who did not receive yet?
