Expiry date is a year from the medical exam unless your passport expires before that. Mine is 25th of Jan 2018.

Yes those documents should be enough and no you are not expected to have a Canadian bank account when doing your landing especially for outland. Although it is not impossible to have one.
Hello Cmack,
Thanks yet again for your insight...I had another question :
As now it seems that a US bank would suffice...does it matter if its a local bank or a major retail bank? I did some reviewing of past forum posts..especially the insightful advice by Qorax.
It seems that while banks (and corresponding bank statements) from other countries might not be valid, banks from the USA would suffice.
My question is based on the fact that my funds are based in a local bank as opposed to a major retail bank. Will bank statements and certified letters of proof of funding from a US local bank suffice or do
I need to show funds from a major US bank to immigration officers at POE - in this case at Montreal Trudeau International Airport?
Thanks in advance

bank statements and certified letters of proof of funding from a US local bank should suffice ...(though no body ask for it you can also carry your credit report in case you have handy )

That is correct, the certified letters should be enough.
My Federal application is under processing. Currently I have submitted my medicals and police clearance certificates.
I received this message on Feb 27
"We sent you correspondence on February 27, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."
The original police certificates and landing fee receipts were requested and my counsel has sent those last week. Today I have received acknowledgement for email submission of documents and physical documents are also delivered as per tracking updates. Anyone else been through these steps so far. If yes, can you please share your experience.
===========================
Briefly timelines are
CSQ Received # Apr. 2016
Federal Application Submission Month # Jul, 2016
AOR # Nov, 2016
Medicals Request Received in # Dec, 2016
Medicals Results Submission Month # Jan, 2017
Police Clearance Submission Month # Feb, 2017

I have gone through these steps and I submitted my Fingerprints/Police Clearance back in November 2016 and waiting for decision. If you submitted yours on 27th Feb, I would say give it at least 6 months according to their current speed.

Hopefully you"ll recieve it this week. A member recently posted" received PR card 35 days after landing". Let us know when you recieve it. Sometimes there is something wrong with the picture. If you don't recieve by end of this month contact CIC
