New week for me.
I received my AOR for PR application on last June 24. It's been 6 weeks today, after AOR. I have no updates. To answer the question "Where Do I Intend to Live inQuebec", for a starter I'm choosing Montreal, I hope la ville will be good to me..
Good luck to all!

Congratulations AMR2011. On my part I just checked my E-Case, the second line reads
"We started processing your Application on August 6, 2015". Sassylady please do check and let us know since my AOR is 1 day older than yours and we have same Visa office, Darka. Hoping for medical bells to ring soon. Cheers

Congrats Sango. My ecas is still showing "1. we received your application on....." but from AOR email I received from CIO it is stated there that "Your application has now been placed into processing". My question is, Where do I find myself?
Hi everyone,
My PR application has been received on june 1st.
The AOR said the application is complete and that I should not send any documents.
The last update from July 28th says the application is currently ''in process''.
However, I have not yet send any police certificates.
So I do not understand how come it is complete and in process when these documents are missing.
From what I have read looking your posts, it seems that ''in process'' stage is after the police certificates
and the medical exam.
Is that correct?
Thunderbird and others,
What are the different lines of status that appears in the ECAS... It will help if any of you list it down.. Just to check the timelines for each phase..
Thanks & Regards,
Hello everyone!
Thanks for creating this topic, it is very helpful!
I am still waiting for my CSQ, but trying to get a lot of information ahead for the next stage - the federal stage.
This may be a very stupid question (sorry guys & thanks in advance):
If someone who has a CSQ, living and working in Quebec for more than a year, applies for a PR, will it be processed according to the nationality of the candidate? Or there's a specific section for those people with CSQ already working in Quebec?
I read a big part of the thread here, and often I see mentions on the nationality. I find it confusing that having a CSQ and living and working in Quebec, doesn't represent priority over other applications for a PR.
Thank You

Hello Nala. I think there is no priority for csq holders in the federal process unless you have a job. Since you are in canada already your file will be treated there in canada and you can check the processing times at your VO in canada. Maybe in ottawa processing centre. Hope this helps?
Congratulations to AMR2011, sango and all the others who got good news , last week
I got my federal AOR , july 30 2015. Today my status shows IN PROCESS from August 06 2015.
Hopping this is a good sign
Good luck to all

Thank You very much for taking the time to answer me. It helps a lot. I had read before the same, that living and working with csq in Quebec would be an advantage when applying for a PR. I was having hard time double checking that information. Thanks again for your feedback!

Hello AMR2011 .. I don't count on the Online Status if I was you, as they don't update regularly these and your Status will stay in Process for the whole process .. You can check other posts on this forum and I do have other friends who are in Quebec now and can confirm my words ..
The status will remain In Porcess (En Cours) until you receive your Visa and it won't ever change ..
Mine is "En cours" [In Process] at the moment ;D
Hope this clarify this
Good luck to all ..
Peace
