Not looking so good...
News says 41200 files waiting in the fed stage and they will process around 20000 this year.
Anybody has an estimate till which file this will reach (for example, till AOR received May/18..)?
Maybe we can share some application numbers to figure this out?
Its quite difficult to come to some date in this way. As mentioned there are 41200 applications pending from all over the world. On this group there are hardly 100 active members which is not even 1 %. There are a few whats app groups who do such exercises though. I am on one group of Indian applicants which has around 135 members. On that group the last update of PPR received was around 15th December 2018. There is not even one member who has received any update since. I guess that could be an indicator. One more point that I mentioned yesterday is that most visa offices (especially India) have almost stopped issuing DM and PPR's. They are requesting for other things like Medical Records, RPRF etc. but there is absolutely no movement on the PPR front. The only exception being the London Visa Office.

Could you please give me the number of whatsapp group so that I can also join. I am also from India.

Can you please send me your number? I will pass it to him. If you want you can message your name and number in private.
It is said that 41200 files in the queue, also said 38500 inventories created in 2018, 30400 inventories created in 2017. Meaning not too many from 2017 are left?
Anybody has any idea about this? Please share!
I understand those numbers to be the length of the queue in different years. So, in 2017, the queue was 30400, in 2018 it was 38500, and now it is 41200.
This makes sense, since in 2017 more CSQ were issued than PR, so the queue grew. Assuming that a) the above queue reflects all economic applications, b) around 30000 economic CSQ were issued during 2018 and c) everyone issued a CSQ applied for PR quickly; the current queue would contain ~11000 applicants from 2017 and ~30000 applicants from 2018.
The above is also consistent with about 36800 economic CSQ issued during 2017, of which around 60 to 70% have obtained PR according to the spreadsheet (so 11000 to 15000 files left from 2017).
Finally, assuming that 23500 economic PR will occur in 2019 (according to Quebec plans), those will be the ~11000 from 2017 and ~12500 from 2018. A very rough estimate would be that whoever applied up to May 2018 will get their PR in 2019, while those of us who applied after May 2018, will likely have to wait until 2020.
Hi guys
You are talking about delaying the processing time for 2018 applicants.
Does PEQ applicant will be affected?

That's an insanely speedy progress after the medical... I passed my medical August 2018 and I'm stuck.....
Even after Passing medicals it takes more than six months?
It's random? Or there might be something wrong with my application.
