O.O omg .. That must have been hard waiting that long not knowing whether to settle or start something in life... have Faith , i’m sure it won’t be long for your PR now. Soon, you will be tasting fresh maple syrup and tease us
It's really weird. I wish I could know why some people get it so fast and others take so long.... I contacted CIC last week and they told me my application is there and it's gonna be analyzed according to the date of receipt. But I know some people that sent after me and already received the AoR... so it makes no sense for me. If I don't get the AoR until the end of this month, I'm gonna contact them again.
I do not know anyone who applied on or after August got AOR, I know lots of people who applied in JULY got the AOR, But not a single person who applied in AUGUST or after got the AOR.
Is there any way to contact them through the online account? I just tried deleting some spam/junk on my different emails and all were permanently deleted instead of going in the trash/deleted folder
Well we can contact them through the Web Form but that Web Form also mentions that we should not communicate with them more than once. And I have already communicated once in the month of July 2018. So, I am a bit skeptical about contacting them again. One more thing, if you delete an email from the spam folder it gets permanently deleted, it does not go in the trash folder. So, I guess I will just have to wait for a few more days. Now I am just hopeful that the email I deleted was actually a spam email.

That's true, but still, it is according to each visa office.
Take mine as an example: My file had nothing missing at all and it took a very long time as many files processed in ADVO
they received my file on Jan 2016, AOR Feb 2016 & started processing on March 2016
I received the MR on Oct 2018
I am sorry I am not discouraging you, but just letting you to be ready for the waiting game.
I hope it won't take much time for you
I agree. Anyways, the processing time is specified as 18 months. Hence, irrespective of all odds one should be prepared to wait for at least 20-22 months.
Yes i have it. It shows up as ‘Application Received’ . We went through an agency so we can only query through them. So far, it is only the same PDF with comment ‘ We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.‘

I have recently joined this forum but not new in the QSW line. I filed for CSQ in June 2014 and got the selection in Feb 2017. Then applied for Federal in New Delhi office on 22nd May 2017 and currently my stage has reached till Medical results have been received on 31st October 2018.
Can anyone please tell me if there will be an interview or there will be directly a decision made? And whether DM and PPR will come together or PPR will be after few months after getting DM? I am currently working in New Zealand may be I need to come to India for interview or PPR.
Hi, do you know if we keep the same VO as the one stated on the CSQ when you change country? We changed country even before we received our CSQ but the VO hasn't changed on the CSQ. Do you know if they update that once they receive our federal application? We used to live in Singapore and are now in the UK. I would like to update our PCCs that have expired but the online webform asks which VO.

Dear @mgazi and friends,
My ecas states the they have started to process my background check. Does this mean that they have started work on my file? Will MR be next?
I would like to share my timeline for those who just applied their federal application this year.
May 04 2018- Application
May 20 2018- AOR
May 20 2018- PCC AND RPRF REQUEST
I dont know if they still would ask for another medical request as I just did medical exam this year too, April due to my work permit. I am not sure if they can accept that work permit medical for immigration category.
Does anyone here share the same timeline as mine? And who did medical upfront for work permit. I heard some have gotten Pre arrival email who just applied this year too.. Hoping I’ll get mine sooner.
Goodluck to us! May God guide us throughout this whole journey.
