I got medical request mail, but I am diabetic and hypertensive on medication for both , currently my sugar levels are high (my present HbA1c value is 8.1) . does this cause rejection of my PR application on medical grounds , please suggest . my medical test is on next week i.e on 30th June .

I'm also hypertensive on medication, it wasn't a issue on my medical exam. I don't think diabetes is a Issue for rejections even if sugar level is high, but you should do a diet for few days and get sugar level on good value for you and then take the medical exam. As far I know the diseases that can cause rejection are the ones that required hospitalisation for long term.
I did search for "diabetes" on this forum and I found a lot of entries, you can check them.
