I submitted my application on May 2013. Medical request, passport, updated police and rprf on 1 July 2014. Submitted all on 7 July and still waiting for decision made. My passport has been with them for 6 months now.
Timelines are different from country to another. So we can't really tell when you are likely to get an update, as the processing in India is different than that in Canada. But you should definitely contact them, because it says on the CIC website that the processing time for new delhi (for the PR part of the application) is 10 months. So for your case, it's been already almost a year and a half since you applied.

Didn't you say that you applied in July 2013? If so, then by now, it's already past the processing time because the CIC website says that the processing time for QSW application is 10 months in the New Delhi office. So it has been already a long time in your case. I guess you should call them again and mention this.
Hi dounia and Jad..did you hear something for your file? I think now the process should be quick as the Nov2013 and Nov2014 cases already processed and due to stricter language requirements and quota there would be less applicants before us (after Jan 2014)...this is just I thought nothing heard from official website etc...
sumangrewal did you apply for CSQ or for pr after the CSQ? because CSQ timelines are different..
No actually i ordered GCMS note and i was surprise that they didnt start anything yet except medical that ia passed. Security, criminal, and eligibility nit started. I dont know whats taking sooo long
Amit, nope, I didn't hear anything yet unfortunately! Hopefully, in the first couple of months of 2015, we'll hear something!
Dounia, I think this means the application is not in process yet :/ which is actually not good news for all of us, because you applied in March 2014, which means after almost 9 months, they didnt start the processing! :S which in turn means that they're not working on QSW applications much (or that there is a huge number of applications before you).
In all cases, let's hope for the best for early 2015!
Yeah I'm sure that they didn't start processing the application, I don't know about the Oder applications but mine is still not started not even criminal, and also they have. A due date in front of criminal security and eligibility 05/2015 I don't know if that's mean that they have to finish it before that date or start doing it that they

due date for all the applications items is one year from the AOR Date , but this date mean nothing sometimes they finish before this date and some times not , no visas issued for QSW since august 2014 , i guess this January they again will start processing QSW as i hope

Actually, there's someone from another thread that received his PR visa this December along with his two other friends. All of them applied in November/December 2013.
