My work permit is an open work permit which allows me to work for any employer anywhere in Canada for up to 1 year.
I am initially going to Montreal in hopes for finding a job with my level of French. I think it will help my application and give me additional points. However if things don't work out and i'll be unsuccessful with finding employment in Quebec, I'll drive down to Toronto.
it would be interesting to know if you can apply for a Quebec work permit if any such thing exists and also the procedure for applying both for that and federal; I had always been under the impression that that for any kind of canadian work permit apart from the student related ones, that you need a full time job offer from a canadian employer BEFORE applying.
i think even a temporary job offer works for that job period to get a temporary work permit. Do any one know about any consulatancy or about how to initiate the proces. Please share.
As the best start..check out Quebec immigration portal for any updated info (http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/index.html)
There, u'll be able to take a primary assessment in which u can enter ur qualifications & check ur chances.
Hi,
I am sending my application next week without the Malaysian PCC. The visa office told me I can do so. However, I just read the memo i received with my CSQ. Its mentioned in the memo that I have to submit the original IMM0008 form"Application for PR" VERSION 06-2002. Did anyone send that particular one with your application or just the updated one they ve on the website which i guess is version 04-2010.
Regards
Shahzad
I will enroll in a french intermediate conversation course next week at alliance francaise, but all i need to reach A2 in both Speaking and listening to be qualified without attending any interview. i am willing to apply for CSQ next month and i will provide a certificate from the alliance francaise to prove my french skills.
Do you think guys that this certificate that will be enough to prove my french skills or do i have to to take the TEFAQ exam. I don't want to attend any interview as the country where i residing they don't recieve any application for Quebec immigration so in case they require an interview i have to go all the way to another country very far away from here. Thanks
Question: I'm leaving for Montreal in a few days, I understand that I have to notify immigration about the change of address as soon as possible, is that right?
Now that I will be living in Quebec, will my application be transfered to Quebec visa office ?
