Dear All,
Plz Help Urgently,
I am confused what NOC should i follow for Quebec? HRSDC or LMI?
I have followed HRSDC code in my application, last day i came to know that same occupation has different code at LMI, what to do now?
Normally What occupation codes are being followed at Quebec?
Regards
Ken
dear ken
you have to follow HRSDC
Dear Darshmodi,
Thx a lot, because some one told me that I have done mistake.
Anyways, besides this, does Quebec hold any separate list of NOC codes or occupation list with codes? Like HRSDC has.
Ken
I received a message from my bank that my credit card will be blocked, because they think that my details might have been stolen.
They said they'll replace the card in a couple of days.
Now I start to wonder what I have to do to tell the Montreal office about my change of card?
Do I send in a new document or... ?
Any help?
Thanks!!

Hi Ieven/Geochaddy
I had submitted my application with my wife being principal applicant since she had a bachelor & master in organic chemistry. We submitted our application in Jan 2013 and received AOR in March 2013 after which there has been no news. Can you please tell what is the Chemistry Order and how can we do it? If you could tell in details i would really appreciate your help.
Regards
Venkatesh
Dear Venka, I see that Ievgen has responded. I really think we should submit to the Order as soon as possible. Like Ivegen as indicated I believe it will help our chances.

HI Geo,
I score exactly the same points except my spouse characteristics is : 3 points . My total is 60 now.
Yes, i hope we get a weaver. or else i will have to appear for french tests.
But you know what, in my opinion, this is unfair for the applicants like us. when they had taken/charged the fees and now when it is non refundable, they should not change the rules for the ones who already got the AOR. I got my AOR in March 2013 and according to what the new rules has to say i will be considered in the new rules. This is unfair. when i applied last Nov 2012, i checked the criteria and rules prevailing that time and i agreed to pay the money because i was sure that i will qualify and hence i proceeded for the application and paid my hard earned money to them. They gave me the confirmation that the file is OK to be processed and shall go further according to the rules and regulations and hence they are charging the fees (I.E AOR.) Now, how can they change the rules for me ??
My sentiments exactly!! Grossly unfair!!

I'm sure that after you apply to Order your CSQ will come very fast. And also you're very good in terms of points even not including the french exam. If you're doing Beginners Plus course that's probably A2 level. I wish you progress fast in learning especially if your tutor is a native speaker.
My federal application was finally dispatched yesterday to Nova Scotia after I collected everything. I'm only pending the FBI clearance, if they accept the fingerprints that I took at the local police station ;D Still, my credit card hasn't been billed yet. I suppose they process it soon cause the police certificates are valid for 3 months only.
That is great Ievgen. I hope that the CIC part will be processed as quickly CSQ.
I am actually enjoying the French. In addition to the classes I have been using the Michael Thomas method which was recommended by a forum member. I find it quite useful.

Same thing happened to me. I send my application and I had to cancel my CC because it got cloned. I called them but since you haven't received your dossier/ref ind number, there is nothing to update. In my case, I was expecting them to return the whole application; however, they actually received it and sent me an email with dossier/ref ind number stating that my CC didn't go through.
Now, you have your numbers so you can send the update. I got my AOR 2 weeks after sending the payment info update.
So basically, you'll have to wait until they send your application back or they send you an email asking for new payment info.

Hi Ievgen, congrats on collecting your federal application so fast! How did you manage to do that? I had to collect RUS police certificate as I did my BA there. Guess what? They told me to wait 6 months. At the end I found a fast-track channel. I guess no need to detail it - you will understand ;D

Hi Geo,
Yeah, Ievgen helped us with such a crucial information. I am thinking of submitting the order now as soon as possible. BTW we can together coordinate and help each other on how to submit the Order asap. Where are you residing ?
Thanks

All chemists who studied outside of Quebec need to obtain a license from the Order to practice the profession. It takes 45-90 days to process an application and the fee is 425$. Also, assuming that you're not francophone and didn't complete high school/university in french you'll be first granted a temporary 1-year license. Within this period it'll be required to pass a french exam upon arrival to Quebec.
I created a separate thread about this. You might find it helpful http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t149148.0.html
Ievgen,
Thank you very much for such a crucial information. Congratulation on your application

Hi Ketevan,
There're alternative ways to settle issues with the documents in such countries ;D And actually, even if you get it for free without "extra amount" under general conditions it takes one month for citizens. Police certificates are valid for 3 months only. I suppose that FBI will process my request soon also. When I dispatched federal application I included a Fedex courier receipt as a proof that I mailed a request to FBI headquarters. How have you been doing so far? I suppose after spending some time at home you now boosted your motivation! Are you still in the call center or decided to go for something else?

Hi buddy,
I wasn't required to submit resume with my application to order. Have you tried out resume builder on canadavisa website http://www.canadavisa.com/canadavisa-resume-builder.html
It should be good to standartise it according to canadian requirements. If it has to be in french it's better to ask some native french-speaker to verify it after you have a rough draft.
Tnx friend. All the best in your federal stage. I'm sure it will come with the speed of lightning
