unfortunately i received back my application for permanent residency (federal) saying that my birth certificate was missing... the thing is that i did send my birth certificate so i dont know what exactly the problem was because they dont specify if there is a problem with the one that i sent...

can someone give me an idea why they say i did not send my birth certificate even though i did??

Thanks for updating! Can you give more details on what happened on your side? Do you mean you got decision made on eCAS? What about your MyCIC account? Did you get PPR email and are you from a visa exempt country?

A few of us are wondering what to expect after our status changed to decision made on eCAS but we didn't get any other update than that.

How did you come to know that you have been approved? Have you called the CIC call centre agent? Or have you contacted your MP ?

My MP contacted CIC last week and they were told that everything was good, they were just waitingfor the final stamp of approval.

I know it was approval because first my ECAS changed to "Decision Made" and mycic account was updated this morning to let me know that my application was approved...

Not sure what is next

No passport request either right? And do you know approximately how long there was between ECAS changing and your MyCIC account changed to approved? It seems we're in the same situation, but for me ECAS says decision made and mycic hasn't changed yet (still in process)

The next is for sure PPR. Many many congratulations for that. By the way, when did you ECAS status changed to Decision Made? Was it on 4th or 5th December?

I am sorry, I didnt see your message. got the decision made on eCas on december 5th, and then updated in my CIC account december 7th. didnt get a ppr email and i am from a visa exempt country...waiting too
