Sorry if this topic has been discussed before, but I really can't find my answer in previous topics.
I am a new graduate with a three-year PGWP. Now I am working as a system support representative on a full-time, 1-year-fixed-term basis. I work 38.25 hours per week, and my contract allows me to take 15 paid vacation days. I am also eligible to take 13 public holidays annually.
My question is: I will have to take 1 week paid vacation off for some personal reason. When the immigration officer counts my work hours, will they really do the math, like 38.25*52- 38.25 (1 week's hours) - 2*38.25 (two weeks' public holidays) = 1874. 25. 1874 hours are much less than the min work hours (ie.1950 hours per year) the CIC requires.
Any opinion or input would be greatly appreciated.
