HI,
M boyfriend has been declined with his PRRA and is set to leave before december 4th .
We are a couple and will get maried next week to apply for sponsorship.
what will happen after we get maried and apply for sponsorship will he have to go home or can he stay here while it is processed? is there anything else we can do other than for him to stay longer like appeal in federal court or since we are getting maried there is no use for that ?
thanks!!!!!

1. Refused Refugee status, refused PRRA and then gets married?
2. He is going home, IMHO it is unlikely that CIC will process an In-Canada application where the marriage is at the last minute prior to removal.
3. If he is not careful, he could find his removal order turning into a deportation order. (If it hasn't already)
hi thanks for your response!
well we have ben together 3 years... getting married was our last option but he received a letter for an interview we still tought there was hope until he went there and they gave him 30 days to appeal or leave the country s we decided to get maried . if he had knew we would of done it before .
so if we get maried and apply for sponsorship now he will get deported? i dont quite understand what to do
What PMM has said is that your boyfriend will most likely be removed from Canada even if you marry and sponsor him.
It would be best if your boyfriend left Canada before his departure order turns into a deportation order (you can marry him before he leaves). Once he has left the country, you can apply to sponsor him using the outside of Canada application process.
Thank you for your response!
So even if he appeals to federal court while bing here wich will extend his stay it would b better to apply once he is in his country . Therebis no way he can stay here
