I'm just working on pictures for proofing my wife and I's relationship is legit. Looks like you can put date on the pictures pretty easily in Lightroom. What else should I put on the pictures? Should I write a quick description of each picture? Thanks.
Don't forget to have a minimum of two people who know you both well to write a solomn declaration that your relationship is geniune and ongoing. A lot of people forget that!
yea i dont wanna give them the reason for an interview as from inital contact to marriage we will be together just over a yr but why not bombard them with proof
Thanks will get my friends to write us some letters.
I remember reading somewhere (but I can´t remember where...) that the pictures have to be printed on real photo paper (as you would do if u got your photos developed at a photo store). So it IS acceptable to just print them from your computer printer onto regular white paper?
Lots of people print their photos out on regular paper, and no one here has reported any problems because of it. The instructions say they want the photos loose - i.e., not in photo albums or frames - but they don't say anything about what kind of paper they have to be on.

We sent a total of 10 images from different stages in our relationship... scanned/digital photos printed in colour, two per page, with a brief annotation under each. Something like, "November 2007: Our first dinner together at my parents house. Pictured from left to right are My mother (insert full name), Her father (insert name), etc, etc"
Did you mean that the solemnized letters sent from friends and relatives only needed for common-law application only not for spousal application (married couples)? Could you please be a bit more specific? I am planning to included also the letters from my friends and relatives to prove that our relationship is genuine and on going. Do you really think that is not a good idea which just make IO will come up with an interview later?
People applying as common-law have to have two solemnized letters from others attesting that their relationship is real and continuing. They can send more if they want.
People applying as married do not need these solemnized letters, but adding them will not hurt your application. Many married applicant include such letters in their application. The letters can be affidavits, letters, or emails - affidavits are considered the best evidence, but if it is inconvenient or too costly to get all affidavits, letters and emails are fine for married applicants.
