I communicate with my wife by skype messenger as we talk daily and by text messaging ..how can I proof those?
should I copy my cell phone bill each month(for the whole last year ) to show how many text message i did send to my wife?only proof of my relation is our wedding picture and our engagement party picture and that set ..is it enough?
and do i need to write a letter to explain how our relation is genuine?
I'll kick off by saying, I am not entirely sure about retrieving past information on skype - I know that all phone calls and messages sent between skype is saved automatically and can be viewed at the bottom of the main screen, but once it is deleted, I do not believe you can get it back.
Copy of your cell phone bill? Definitley. Anything you can think that would prove your relationship together in genuine is golden here, we're talkin photos, emails, phone bills, ticket stubs, passport stamps and anything more you can think of. Wedding pictures have a fair amount of pull I believe, but not something to ride on. I lived with my wife for a year in her home country, and I never thought I would have to leave, so I don't have a ton of photos. I'm in the same boat with engagement parties and wedding photos. I think a small amount of evidence may etch you in for an interview - or atleast that's what I'm hoping for!!
As for the question about a letter proving your relationship is genuine. In the sponsorship application, at the end of the Sponsor/Sponsored Spouse Questionnaire form, there should be a note in a grey box saying.. "On a seperate sheet of paper, provide any additional details of your current relationship that you believe would help to prove your relationship is genuine and continuing." So you get a chance to explain yourself there. Aren't they nice!?
Send in all the proof of communication you can get - definitely your phone bills. You should be able to get a print out of Skype calls and messages.
If you can, go back to visit and provide proof of this time together. Include more photos than just your wedding and engagement party pictures.
How much proof you need depends on your situation and what visa office you are going through, so tell us where you're from.
