Common-law partner sponsorship, proof of relation to sponsor

Hi,

As part of the supporting documents for the proof of relation to my sponsor, I have to submit the "Documentary evidence of financial support between you and your sponsor, and/or share expenses."

The credit card of my sponsor is debited from my bank account. I have original documents supporting this fact.

1- Is this considered a proof of financial support?

2- How to make a letter recognized from my family that we are in an authentic relation? Is it only a formal letter? How to support the authenticity of this letter?

1. Sure. If you are both working you can explain that there is not a financial support between the 2 parties. That is acceptable as well.

2. Family should write about when they met partner, activities/holidays shared, etc. Doesn't have to be very formal like a legal letter. No need to prove authenticity. Contact information for the family member and their signature.
