I had similar changes in my ecas week before we got call to pick up visa. One of my friend had same status change last week and got visa this week. So i think it is positive sign. Cross ur fingers.
I hope you will get good news next week.
As I know, med valid for one year. Even my wife's visa has visa expiry date as medical expiry date (End of Aug).
For me it looks like you r gonna get good news soon.

wow oh wow..everyone is getting good news..hmmm...im in montreal so its diff from u guys i think..its been 8 months since i applied nothing has changed so far...im really upset ...i go crazy sometimes...dunno wt to do....:-(
Hi guys. Im a new delhi applicant but my friend is a Colombo applicant. He applied in March of this year. Are any of you aware if your embassy began processing files from January 2011 just to give him an idea when his file will be next for PPR? Tnx
Hey guys..I am in Jaffna now.....I got a phone call from the Embassy, and they wanted to speak to my wife....soo I gave the phone over to her and they advised her that her medical is expiring in a week and that if they grant the visa, would she able to go...so she was like yes yes.....and they said they will call back with more info....they called after 1/2 hour asking her to bring the passport...so i guess they will be issuing the visa on Tuesday.....

hey GUYS i just noticed when i signed in e-cas using husband details i noticed that one letter is missing from my husband last name and when i loged in i see his name and application recieved on january and medical recieved....nothing else no address nothing..but as of yesturday when i signed in e-cas with my details(i'm the sponsor) i see that two line
husband name in process application recieved
husband name decision made application reieved
when i click on the in process its saying that we started to process ur application on 17th of january...what u guys think about this help please what should i do about the missing letter in his last name
Rathika, just email to Colombo visa office about the misssing letter. and the status is same for me too...will we get visa next week...anyways i appreciate Mel's advice..ha..ha...buying things...have to go Halifax next week with my employer...only four days...seems this month will be a busy one for all the girls 8) 8) 8). Hey Rathika, the change in Ecas happened on Tuesday for me, and then they called us on Thursday...soo just get ur hubby to monitor his calls. soo yee...guys good luck all...
