my visitor status ran out so applied for a restoration and a owp at the same time back in may and just heard back that owp was refused nut nothing about my restoration

Hi Eva26.
I was on the same situation that you and IZZY2016, and finally today after almost 40 days, my CIC account was showing that my application for Restoration of Status/Work Permit Extension has been approved. However, so far I have not received any message or email regarding tho this decision (guess I will receive a notification maybe tomorrow).
That being said, I have a couple of question for you, hoping you can help me:

-Where can I find any CIC text or web page, as support to show my employer that I can start to work right away, even if I haven´t received the work permit in paper??
-What is the phone number to communicate with a CIC agent, so that I can ask personally about an estimate of time for the delivery of my work permit in paper??

I am desperate to go back to work as soon as possible.

I need your expert advice,I have BCPNP nomination and work supporting letter ( with work supporting letter OF BC,can I apply for WP for BC before submitting express entry file for PR..I am BC express entry skilled category candidate..I am confused because I come to know you can't apply for WP unless u applied for express entry and having AOR number, you need to mentioned in WP file.. pls let.me.know, is it true or we can apply for WP before EE file submission.?

I my application for a work permit extension was refused in July 2019, it was refused on the grounds that the reviewing officer didn't believe that the evidence provided was enough to satisfy my LMIA exemption as i originally entered Canada as an intra company transferee. The lawyer who submitted my paperwork via the portal only filled out the extension application as he assumed it would be a simple process as ive worked for the company for over 15 years as a senior manager. This is why the officer refused. We have now resubmitted with an abundance of supporting documentation as well as reference letters. When I first entered Canada there was no problem I am here to continue the expansion of the operation and create opportunities for Canadian residents and citizens.

Has anyone encountered this before and will they approve the restoration, also what are the processing times now as im diabetic and have limited insulin left.
