Was only your restoration approved or you applied for work permit also?
 
Hi guys, I've applied for my restoration work permit online on November 2, 2015. Haven't received any update regarding my application. Is there anyone who applied around same time and received the work permit??

I applied online November 18,2015
No news yet.
 
I've called cic today and they said its under secondary review, so its still under processing.

Hi Andy, Did u applied for the restoration of work permit or just work permit extension.
 
I applied online on November 12. Haven't received any email either. I called on Friday the agent told me is under review. I wrote a Case Specific Enquiry but haven't received any response either. I am not sure how they operate. If they have not yet finished processing applications they received in November, then why they moved ahead and started the ones they received in December? Any experts here able to explain? Cheers
 
Hi guys, I applied for restoration along with my PGWP on 23rd November 2015 and haven't gotten any reply from CIC yet. Does anyone currently in the same situation as me? I am kinda worried right now.
 
Just a question, any clue shows study permit restoration processed faster than work permit? Or online application processed faster than paper application?

Applied November 18.Still waiting-you're not alone.
 
I applied online on November 12. CIC website show that they currently processing work permit renewal applications they received on December 31st. So I called CIC and was told that my application was sent to the restoration department on February 25th and at this point, it could take up to 16 weeks for them to issue restoration/work permit. So guys, just heads up, restoration can take up significantly longer than regular renewal although CIC website shows that restoration follows normal processing time.
