These checks are conducted for IRCC by outside agencies and any delays that they may incur in providing input to IRCC is something over which we have no control. For this reason, processing times are case by case and sometimes significant delays may occur. We do not have a service standard in place and they will be processed accordingly.

Last night i was reading comments on the other trend about delay in BC and PPR,there are guys waiting for over a year.....This thing is going crazy,but 90% still getting response within 7-8 months ,which is still a good thing.....I am positive that our feb applications gonna be processed before 3rd or end of this month.My AoR is 11th feb FYI.

We don't have any other option except being positive . However, I believe IRCC should treat all application as a fair processing regarding timeline, provided they are processed in any offices.

IRCC Winnipeg hasnt' still cleared Jan end applications. I believe this is the only slowest office I have ever seen in this forums !!

Manitoba(winnipeg) just had provincial elections yesterday ,I don't know if this may/maynot effect our process time.

Not exactly sure...
I think it won't affect IRCC operations since they're federal, not provincial.
Anyways, I think most of us are waiting for the CBSA to clear us, so I doubt the elections will have much effect.
