problem viewing status on e-cas

Hi,

I'm a June applicant (the sponsor) who got AOR a week and a half ago.
when I'm trying to view my status on e-cas with all the details I got from CIC, the system asks me to mark V (check a box) that states I wont be able to view my status online again. And nothing alse is there!!! I mean the only thing that shows is this box and nothing on my status. I am afraid that if I check V and procceed I wont be able to view my status online again.

Did anyone had the same problem?? any ideas what should I do??

Do not check that box. If you do, you won't see your file electronically again, nor will anyone else. Maybe the system is down, give it a break and then check again. By a break I mean at least a few hours or even a day or two, not 15 minutes.

That is what I thought (well. it states that so I don't need to be so amart for that ). The true is I gave it a 2 days break!! still the same... I think there's something wrong with the system...

I think it's maybe just because they only opened my file on Friday that it hasn't started working fully yet.

Just give it a few more days - your UCI may be active since they just assigned it but the info on your file may not be uploaded yet (it can take a few days for it to update for some reason) or there may just be an issue with the system.

Thanks... I guess it has to do with slow updating of the system or something. I'll just give that few more days! The funny thing is that they already got me in their system (I changed my address online) but just not the status...

I keep getting a message saying they have no information with the information I submitted in the form. I used the same information I have entered for three years. I'm wondering if Accra has received our file back after our successful appeal.

Does anyone know if applicants get a new file number once reprocessing has started after successful appeals?

Hi Boaz!

That's exactly what i saw on my ecas too good thing I have not put a check on the box and click submit hehehehe..Im glad im not alone to experience this. God bless us all!

Hi,

Well, I'm checking e-cas everyday and it has'nt change for the last few days. There's nothing there except this notice box!! no status, no information, nothing...

I hope it will change soon for sponsor approval for us
