It wasn’t helpful for me. My sponsor emailed them, but they only replied that I have to wait.

I think we have no choice but to wait...i submitted 7 months before you did ...so according to the website I should be getting emails from them at least AOR from november2024-january 2025 ...I will let you know if I get any emails I am applying from Uganda by the way but the processing time for sponsorship application in Turkey is 21 months and Uganda is 20 months ...I think u have to wait at least 7 months because they still haven't sent me any email

Yes, I am also facing this challenge and experienced a flight cancellation On 22nd May 2024. Online status returned into inprocces I hope we both get some clarity soon! Have you tried reaching out to CHC&IRCC? Let’s hope IRCC finalizes our cases soon!

No the general attempt to reduce PRs will likely make processing slower. Canada welcomed too many refugees, asylum seekers and people for H&C reasons and there just isn’t the services or housing to absorb these huge numbers. Processing was always multiple years but varies greatly between cases so would not pay too much attention to posted processing times.
