This is just a great information to me.. i will go to the doctor tomorrow and talk to them.
There is one more thing... actually i appeared for medicals in last December (2013) for my TRV stamping as i am holding the valid work permit and it is going to expire in June 2014. After 10 days of time of mine my family appeared for the medicals for TRV as they hold the visitor records for the same time period mentioned above.
Now, the question why they sent the requests for my spouse and kid? For this doctor said that your medicals might be okay for your PR Visa but their medicals might not be okay as they are holding the visitor records. She says that this could be one of the reason.
Doctor also said that she is going to write an email to CHC Medical panels that they can match up the UCI with IME# in their records. Anyways tomorrow i am going once again to meet the doctor and i will find out more on this but i'm totally confused now...
Same thing happened with us as the principal applicant did not receive the MR. When our lawyer mailed CIC to know why is it so, CIC replied back (1 week) saying they have the records of medicals for PA. She did her medicals last October for TRV and Work Permit.
So, I guess rameswara it is the same with you as well.
Doctor didn't accepted to do medicals for me as i don't have the UCI#. One more thing he said he can do but my medical results will go with different number and my family medical results will go with their UCI#'s and This will create hell a lot confusion and your application process may get delayed.
For primary applicant the UCI# will be generated when file number is generated and you can check the same in the email that you will be getting from CIC regarding your file number. Doctor checked with that UCI# in emedical system and said with that he is unable to see any information with that UCI# but he confirmed that he is able to see for my family members.
His advise to wait for my UCI# (or replay from CIC) so that he can do the medicals with that number and he did the medicals for my family. So, my advise to all of you is don't appear for the medicals if you don't have the UCI# and i hope this information will help you.
Last thing doctor said he is going to send an web request to the CIC/VISA office mentioning about the situation and he should be getting the reply within 10 days. You can request doctor to do the same so that it will be very fast.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
My luck is very bad that on the next day i got an email from CIC confirming that they received the medicals (my work permit medicals that i sent them in the first week of February). They took almost more than a month to reply me.
Now, the concern is what about my family new medicals because we they appeared for the medicals the day before the CIC reply. On this my lawyer advised that even though if medical center sends new medical result to CIC that's doesn't matter as they already considered your old medicals.
Yes because Medical is valid for 1 year only. So in your case your medical is valid until July 2014, and I think we will receive MR request from Mid-August or Early September.
@ all friends here , can some one help letting me know what happens after adding spouse to CEC application.??
I am in Canada, spouse in India, did he get his medicals done there?
Am I asking a dumb question
I am puzzled
