The trend is sadly moving beyond prediction. It could have matched some hopeful & optimistic ones if they would have issued 1600+ ITAs, but alas they stopped at some 900.
However, again if the number of ITAs goes 1600+ in the next draw, looks like the cut off score could be somewhere around 440 approx . It all depends on the state of the pool & acceptance limit on the date of draw i.e probably on 24th April !
:-X
Optimism and patience is the key. I see so many applicants crying over the results of the 7th draw. The cut off has gone the other way. Only less than 1k have been invited. Everybody will have a chance sooner or later. Remain Optimistic, do not leave any stone unturned to upgrade your score. Best of Luck
Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander said he expects just 10 to 15 per cent of the immigrants who arrive in Canada this year will have been selected via the new Express Entry application system, a mechanism designed to choose immigrants more quickly to better meet the needs of the labour market. But he expects that figure will rise sharply by 2016
Guys, What I understand that he said word "arrive" not "selected". Definitely the immigrants come after EE selection will be less in 2015 b/c of low ITA's offered so far till April and persons selected after June draws will "arrive"in Canada in 2016 b/c it is a more or less 6 month duration program. It doesn't mean that they are selecting 10-15 % of FSW quota. May b we will see increase no. Of ITAs in 2nd half of year , a way to increase sharply the arrivals of new ones in 2016, as minister said.
