Assumption :no draw will happen this week as 2 draw per month is already done.

Our(my wife being the primary applicant), score is 387.

I doubt any ITA to be issues to us by May'15., Post that, I do have a hope.

Isn't this lucky draw happening on the requirement of the particular skill sets required by Canada Govt.?

If they have copied the Australian model, then I also feel they have internal caps on each profession & line of interest, from which they want to pick & select & invite probably interested candidates.

If, so then draw completely falls on the type of demand & score up or down.

Can't there be a possibility that in some future draw, the minimum score might go up even from any of the previous scores?????

As many people yet to file their EE, as there might be candidates with higher score, which might result on some draw on the above pointer.

Any inputs or thought process.

This is CIC.they are notorious in doing this....playing with the emotions....

Dear Geet,
Don't feel things, read things and analyse, its not a lottery and things are not hidden, if they would plan to do NOC specific draws, they will definitely inform you and you will find another 1500 topics posted about it, so be relaxed!

This is the most realistic prediction yet. However, purely for selfish reasons, I'm hoping for 465 (my score) with over 2,000 ITAs.

CIC has over 60,000 ITAs to issue in 8 months (from April 1 onward). On average they need to issue 7,500 per month for the rest of 2015.


I'd be surprised by a 450 cutoff as well.

Actually I hope the score can be decreased to 390(since I only got 399 )
