and just in case i ordered my caips the same day so i know what is going on

with my application

What does your CAIPS say ?

Could you please elaborate so it could benefit applicants with similar status.

No need to be worried
as you know PCC is valid for one year and its around over one year we all have submitted our documnts
CHC may ask for Fresh PCC at this stage

CHC has asked for PCC (to be submitted by 20-03-2012) of my elder son who turned 18 Nov 2011.

We reviewed your application & sent you a letter on XX Month, 2012. Please consider delay in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed on XX Month, 2012 & we started processing.

I guess most of the applicants with similar status are having these lines.

A strange thing I noticed in the PCC issued here in Delhi..it does not have the photograph of the person whose PCC is requested.
Is this standard?

It is 2012. This is why I am little worried what could be the contents of the letter.

We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on April 27, 2010. The New Delhi office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 1, 2012.

Earlier there were 4 lines and than the 5th line got added..

If we assume it as an E-CAS error impacting numerous applicants then the difference in processing dates rules out the error.

I got it issued from Gujarat, mine doesn't have a photograph. My husband got his recently from Indian Consulate in Toronto and his doesn't have the photo either.

Logically PCC should have the photograph of the person.

Dear Nano, It is somewhat different from mine. May be because I just had 1 line earlier (1st one) that i mentioned. 2nd & 3rd lines have been added yesterday.
