in-process and no letter received

my e-cas status below:

We received your application for permanent residence on April 28, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 27, 2012. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 27, 2012.

But I never received neither e-mail nor any letter from NDVO since that date. I submitted online query about status and letter(may be it will take 3 weeks to get reply).

Does any have this similar situation ? if yes, what type of letter, does it have any dead line in order to reply that.
(OR) is this a generic message from CIC ?

experts please advise.

there was no need to send a CSE for ur appln

The line in ecas "your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 27,2012" means they are working on ur file......It can be possible that they doin background checks or awaiting it results.

They will provide u MR, only once NDVO is satisfied with ur appln

sorry no1 can confirm that.......u can expect to get MR in next 1-2 months if all goes well

Thanks, I just gone through the threads it seems MR is taking around 4 to 6Months.
For Lucky people they are getting in less than 2 months.

He is talking about the letter which was sent on the same date as his case got into in-process, I think you should email them again as the letter might have been lost, what is your ecase now?
