I wana know one more thing. I am working in UAE. Right now i cannot quit my job and i have to enter canada before my medical expires and they are expiring end of next month. Is it possible if i can enter Canada for 2 3 weeks now and, Once i get my PR done then i come back and sort out my things here in uae and then i i ll go back to Canada for real after 6 months.

After you entering canada it will take 45 days to 3 month to get your PR card. The PR card they will send your designated address in Canada. You can re enter to Canada any time when you get the PR card.
However you can return to UAE after two/three weeks. But before that you have to ensure that someone should receive your PR card in Canada and sent to you in UAE through DHL or Fedex. It would be better if you go back to UAE after receiving the PR card.

Thanks for your reply. As i told you I cannot quit my job right now. To wrap up things here in UAE would take lil time for me. And if i took that time i wouldn't be able to enter Canada on time. That's why m getting worried. I hope there will be no prob if i can come back after 2 3 weeks. My wife would be in Canada to collect my PR anyways.

Once a decision has been made you cannot withdraw the application.

Hi There,

I received free pre arrival services letter on 6th dec 2019, recently i was trying to check my visa process using online tool on cic website its saying Decision made. But i did not receive any email or letter from them yet. Before when i used to check it was saying
" inProcess".

Is there anyone can help me with this? What to expect next?

I was facing the same scenario and i got my passport request on 31st December and i i ha already submitted my passport. Just wait you ll get it soon

No one can say.

Basically while getting the pre-arrival letter is a good sign that the file is progressing, it does not seem to be a consistent indicator of how quickly the PPR might come.

I'm comparing to, say, time elapsed between 'decision made' for the PA and date of receipt of the PPR, which is usually relatively short.
