Only Background to be processed still no news after receiving eligibility letter 2 months ago.

Background check is the longest process, sometimes it can take up to months to complete . Also the tracker hasn’t been working for a while now .. keep your eyes open for emails, and gckey updates.

Yeah my tracker is not updated but GCkey is.

After IMM5801, we can expect to have the IRCC request recipient to submit/send passport and photo.

IMM5801 is given to those who are "qualify to receive pre-arrival services to help prepare for your new life in Canada".

The sentence itself points out "your new life in Canada"

Final decision July 25th, 2024. Still no PPR. Anyone on the same page?

I logged onto the wasif account and it now says “Final decision - September 25, 2024:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.” Does anyone know when ppr is sent out after this? Does it typically happen quickly or is this something that people get stuck on for a while?

It can be quick, but can also take longer. A few weeks not unusual at all. You can look at the tracker, but my guess is most get PPR < two months from seeing final decision.
