I'd suggest you look at the tracker file. In actuality, it can vary quite a bit, and those sending out the "you'll get it in two weeks, confirmed" are just getting people's hopes up. Some get their PPR quickly after the pre-arrival, some take longer.

The file is not 'done' at pre-arrival, jsut one stage.

Look at the tracker, there's no 'maximum' per se.

Of course you can apply for TRV for husband - and may be a good time to do so, in that the pre-approval seems to indicate that they have no questions about the relationship being genuine.
