I understand from the forum that the Canadian PR validity is 1 year from medicals or expiry of passport whichever is earlier. However from the signature of certain members, I have seen that the expiry is almost a year from the visa issued date. Can someone who has the visa confirm how long is the visa valid from the date of issue? (and not from the date of medicals)

in my case, its 1 year from the medical date, my visa issued after 3 months of my medicals, so i have 9 months in my hand to land in canada...the last date is exactly the 1 year of my medicals....
