It seems like they aren't even sending out AOR's until basically when they process your application. So receiving no news at all for two months isn't anything weird. My timeline for recent renewal was in excess of the 63 days for sure, and I didn't have secondary review. I sent in 31 July 2017. See below:

We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 10, 2017.
We started processing your application on October 10, 2017.
Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on October 16, 2017.
Note the 10 October date is when I received the first correspondance about my application, which was via email. I received my card on 19 October.

I've inadvertently sent the application for the PR card renewal twice... now almost two months without any feedback from them.
Is there a way to call to their office by any chance?
Just wanted to know the requirement for renewing your PR card. I received it May 2016 expire 2021 I would like to move out of Canada for 2 years. How will this affect my PR status?
