I got my GU2 update yesterday (on Victoria Day)! My card is mailed out.

I was wondering, do they work on holidays?
That's weird! I think it's just related to some computer system thingy, cz my card expiry date shows 2029/05/16, which might indicate that it was submitted for printing on 2024/05/16. Also, final decision shows
May 16, 2024 Your application was approved
Note: Still photo not approved in PR Portal.

Could you share what the GU2 looks like?
GU2 means everything is done.
- Your PR card application is Approved on GC panel.
- You will receive your PR card details in the GC panel: ID, date of issuance, date of expiry..
- You will receive an email saying that an update is done on your application.

I have signed up on canada post app for incoming mails and you can track your PR card
How to do that? How did you know the tracking number?
I believe that without a tracking number, you can't track it, cz it's a personal mail and hence falls under "General Mail" category, which they won't reveal enough info about it (not even when to expect it, just saying arriving soon).

You can download canada post app and register. You will be able to track incoming mail on your address. It will show you sender name. For Pr card its HOUSE OF COMMONS.
Oh I see, thank you. I don't have "HOUSE OF COMMONS" in my list, do you have it?
