So, just to make sure I understand you correctly, your first photo was rejected? Also, do you know the reason why you were unable to link your application to GC before May 6th? Do you have a representative?
Yes, that is correct - first photo was rejected. I was not able to link as I was unaware that the fields needed to be typed in the exact way as seen in e-COPR (eg. no hyphens/dash on UCI or words being case sensitive). I do not have a representative.

Processing time of first PR card is 72 days. It was in the range of 43-49 days before.
Last updated: May 14, 2024 Updated weekly.
How we calculated this processing time This processing time tells you how long it took us to process most complete applications in the past.
Your processing time will start the day we receive your complete application and end when we make a decision. It may vary depending on how many applications we receive.
Your application may be delayed or returned if it’s not complete.
Hi,
Which is the email for GU2? I got a status update email on May 2nd and saw the application status as Approved. No change though in the card application status of Submitted since then.

It means what it means: PR is approved, while your card isn’t approved yet. When you get GU1, you’ll have you Final decision updated with a date in GC, like this:
