PR Card timeline - 2023

Okay finally my PR card was mailed out!
eCoPR: July 5 (linked PR card application on the same day)
GU1: August 23 (Final Decision updated)
GU: August 29 (Approved and mailed out)

Hopefully it arrives by next week!

Outland, landed on Aug 5th. Linked application to my IRCC account on Aug 24th. Got approved today: "August 29, 2023 Your eligibility has been reviewed. Cards were mailed..."
This was really quick.

Got the email response that card has been mailed on Aug 23 for self. Haven't received it yet. Hopefully it'll be sometime this week. For spouse, it mentioned it's in approval stage. Hopefully it'll be approved soon.

You mean even no updates or changes on your Gckey account? So it means card can be mailed without any notification, correct?

You should receive updates on GCKey if you have linked your PR card to it. It will for sure show you updates.

Managed to call through today, they said they didn't see any updates so they would put a note to the Card Issuing office (didn't ask which one, sorry... I'm guessing Calgary?) to move it forward. Hopefully we'll get some traction now!

I used the webform to put in a request on August 18, explaining that I had already booked international flights leaving September 15 and I needed my cards before then (I also attached a pdf of my booking information). I then called again and was told that there was nothing else I could do but wait for the card, as they had already sent out a note last time I called.

Nothing really happened in between until today August 31 when the GCKey cases for my wife and I both changed to Approved, and Card Sent. Hopefully they'll be here before my travel date!!!!!!

In summary:
ECOPR: Jun 13, 2023
First call to IRCC, they send note to processing office: Jul 25, 2023
Webform request to expedite: Aug 18, 2023
Second call to IRCC, was told to wait: Aug 18, 2023
PR card mailed: Aug 31, 2023

Hi! Anyone who got their eCOPR in mid-July (July 10th to 20th) have gotten any updates on their case or received their PR card yet?
I got my eCOPR on July 13th and haven't gotten any updates since then. Called IRCC on Tuesday and they said they would send a note to my local VO which is Etobicoke. Still no updates :/

I received my eCoPR on 19th June from VO Etobicoke, I raised a webform on monday and called IRCC as well. They have escalated the case but still no update so far.

I received my eCoPR on 19th June from VO Etobicoke, I raised a webform on monday and called IRCC as well. They have escalated the case but still no update so far.

Hope you get updates soon! I called them again today and they said there was already a referral sent to my local VO from the last time I called them and they told me I just need to wait till the application is processed. Sounds like there is a huge backlog. However, some folks seem to have gotten their PR card in 40 days so not sure how the applications are prioritized for processing.
