Pr card renewal questions

My PR card is expiring in July 2023 and I was considering applying for renewal now. I have two questions based on what I've read on CIC and here.

1. Many people seem to have applied online. Where is the link for this? Please send it to me. The website I found asks me to mail the documents to Nova Scotia https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ices/new-immigrants/pr-card/how-to-apply.html

2. If I apply for renewal now, can I still use the current pr card till the new one arrives?

Suggest you change your profile to NOT show your email as your username!

There are still some bugs/glitches being reported by members here that now wish they had applied via a paper application.

2. Yes, but your current card will be invalid 60 days after the new card is ISSUED, so keep that in mind if you travelwith your current card (after applying) and haven't received your renewed card by then. If a card is issued and mailed, but never received by the PR, they may not be aware that a new card was in fact issued.

Are you currently compliant with your RO? How much time have you spent in Canada?
