What was the 1st travel date that you applied for urgent processing, or it was December 3rd from the beginning?

My first travel date was August 26... I sent my application before long weekend of July 31... that I cancelled as I did not get my card..

What number do you call? The number I call never picks up call 1-888-242-2100

Yes that is the number, they hear you if you have an urgency.. you will have to maneuver in their IVR.. but whereever you reach they find an answer for you.

Probably they didn't consider your travel urgent. IRCC has their own rules what's considered urgent, unfortunately.

We are renewing our card (currently in the states):

AOR Jan 11
DM May 17

Our lawyer called the IRCC in May and was told the cards were in production.

No updates since then. Has anyone experienced such a long delay to get their cards?

I have a question guys, I plan to do my landing with my husband and child, after which my husband plans on going back to Dubai and continue to work for 6 months until I find a job so that he can support us with rent etc in the initial months. I heard getting a PR card is a long wait now due to Covid. So how can my husband re-enter after 6 months? Will I be able to collect his PR card as I will be in Canada? Or does he need to be in Canada until he receives his card? Please help in this query. Thanks

Same case with mine my application received by IRCC in same days but I haven't heard from them yet No AOR yet nothing. It seems we could get AOR this month hopefully.

Last time I called CIC, they told me applicant has to pick card themselves, it cannot be picked by others. If PR is mailed then of course it’s fine. But we don’t know if it will be mailed or asked to pickup. Mine is PR renewal. That is why I am waiting on Canada just in case asked to pickup card. If I leave Canada without PR card, I have to apply for PR travel document to come into Canada and also reapply for PR card. This is what the CIC told me when I called them, you can try calling them to recheck but I have not been able to get hold of them, it is hard to connect with them to talk

Hello all, I asked earlier but to no response
We landed June 24th and did not receive a call from IRCC and have not gotten our PR card delivered to the Canadian address provided. It's been about 3 months and one or two weeks. Does anyone know if first PR card mail outs are delayed? It's impossible to contact IRCC.

Any feedback on how long people have had to wait to get their PR cards after landing in these last few months is appreciated.
