PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2020

Today I received the email from IRCC that they are processing my PR renewal card application.
They received my application on July 7th 2020.

Congrats. We both are on the same boat. Mine is July 10th. Keep me posted for any updates

Hi guys, I am Aug 7th ( my documents delivered that day ) applicant, still no update from CIC. Haven't received AOR.
When can I expect response from CIC ?
Also, how do I find the application number of the PR Renewal application. All I have is the payment receipt. Thanks.

Just Got AOR for PR card renewal

Application received: July 9th
AOR: 13 OCT

cound not connect to Ecas but I could link to GCKey with the application number and UCI

what they say about your AOR?
mine says, This confirms that your application for your Permanent Resident Card has been received by Immigration..

Same for me. I assume it will take one or two weeks to mail the card.

By November, you will have your card mailed to you.

By November, you will have your card mailed to you.

By November expect AOR. Card delivery times are varying, you might receive it with 7 days of AOR or nothing until 2 months.

If you are over 3 years you can apply for citizenship

Yup I do qualify

however my lawyer advised me to apply after I file my 3rd year of taxes (as I wasn’t tax resident in my first calendar year in Canada)

which is Around the corner anyways, keeping in mind that citizenship tests or on hold still

But it also shows my application status is complete “Your PR card was sent by mail on Sep30,2020.”Unfortunately I haven’t received my PR card till now,it’s been 14 days since Sep 30.I wonder if they do mail out my card to me and how long will it take to receive my card?

Have you checked your mailing address in ECAS? if it is correct, then wait for 10 or 15 days more, then contact CIC again. Due to covid-19, the mail packages are also delayed a bit. Good luck!
