thanks Rizwan for sharing but did ECAS stopped working for you ! For me its not working in the past two days ( it lead me to a page saying we can not find your application!)
Also in myaccount i was only able to see my 1st PR card processing information when i landed in canada 5 years ago!
PS: its so spooky how we continue to have the same events/dates since we immigrated to canada lol
Submitted an application on May 8, 2020. RO has been met.
I have not received AOR yet, should i be worried? Does it take this long to send AOR? I do see people submitted on May 28th and got AOR in sep 1. Do i need to contact cic and inquire?
It was exactly same for me, my application went in process on sep 10 and since then it kept same whereas same day my wife app went to in process as well as decision made and then on sep 15 i got status update on ecas thaf its sent on sep 14, i cud never link her app to mycic as her place of birth was missing in copr. So possibly thats why i couldn't link. We already received her card on Sep 17.
On Sep 17, my In process status changed to Decision Made and just today i saw its approved in MYCIC and there i can see card aas approved on Sep 17, as next expiry is on Sep 17, 2025.
Hopefully ecas will update tomorrow as per geberal trend it always updates one day after mycic account

Can you leave the country after you applied for PR? assuming you current PR will expire by the time you want to come back.
lets say you have someone to get your card in the mail and send it to you when you are outside country (India), will this work?

Just checked on MYCIC, its been updated with status as APPROVED on Sep 21 and card is sent out. In ECAS, i guess it will be updated tomorrow, as per trend (One day after MYCIC).
Hello everyone, I didn't receive my first PR card so I assume it's lost in mail. I submitted Solemn Declaration to IRCC trying to get a new card. However IRCC told me several times that "we were not able to locate your solemn declaration in the system yet.... is currently processing solemn declarations received before February 6, 2020." Anyone here in the same boat with me? I don't know what to do now
Lesson learned:
We sent the application for spouse & kid for PR renewal. We realized we didn't attach copy of PR card. Anticipating the application will be returned (assuming they would return both the applications as they were sent together), we sent anew package with updated applications for both & the same fee receipt.
Spouse's PR AOR was received but didn't get any update for the kid. Called CIC - they said only the kids application was returned as it was missing stuff. They also refunded the $50 fee only for the kid, as we had put one receipt of $100. So the new package we sent anticipating will also be returned.
Lesson learned.
