PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2020

Lesson learned:
We sent the application for spouse & kid for PR renewal. We realized we didn't attach copy of PR card. Anticipating the application will be returned (assuming they would return both the applications as they were sent together), we sent anew package with updated applications for both & the same fee receipt.
Spouse's PR AOR was received but didn't get any update for the kid. Called CIC - they said only the kids application was returned as it was missing stuff. They also refunded the $50 fee only for the kid, as we had put one receipt of $100. So the new package we sent anticipating will also be returned.
Lesson learned.

It's a renewal - landing documents are not required.

Just checked, ECAS also updated now.

Permanent Resident Card

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on May 27, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 10, 2020.
3. We started processing your application on September 10, 2020.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on September 21, 2020.

Looking forward for receiving card soon.

Congratulations. Where is your location? My PR card was sent last week (around 5 days now), i don't receive yet.

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on May 29, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 11, 2020.
3. We started processing your application on September 11, 2020.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on September 22, 2020.

And the next for my spouse:

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on May 29, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 11, 2020.

Interesting how our applications were received on the same day but the approvals were a week apart.

Hey guys, how can I access my application on ECAS? I applied for my first card and linked the application to MyCIC. But still when I search in ECAS by my UCI, it only shows my PR application with status "Completed" and nothing else. Is there supposed to be a delay until it shows up? if so, how long?

Would appreciate if you can help me with this, I am very worried

Curious to know - Did you check the status daily? If yes, where was it updated first, in mycic or application status?

I think you misunderstood my question. My PR application is complete, not the PR card. I can't find my PR card application in ECAS, it's only showing in MyCIC account.

Exactly same for me 1 week difference in between my wife and my card
