PR Card Delivery during Canada Post Strike

I didn’t get you how to check that what’s the process?? Yes I have Canada post app but it’s asking for tracking number

U have to verify ur identify n address n then it will show u which mails are headed for ur address. Pr card has no tracking number so u can't track with that. Under My Mail it will show if any mail is headed to ur address. This all i have seen on several posts. But i have india roaming sim still so can't download app.

Oh brother yes I know about this, that if I verify my identity then it tells which mails are headed to my address however we are in same boat i am on india roaming sim only

Yes and the worst part is even after becoming a permanent resident hassles don’t end it seems like a never ending process

Someone with Canada Post app said nothing showing on app. Means it's not yet even handed over to Canada Post even after a week. This means do they have any intent to mail the card? Or just hold on to it n then forget

For sure they are going to mail because they said they will start mailing in early 2025 for those who did not pickup their cards so don’t worry we will get it.

I know it’s a tough time for decision making, but submitting a solemn declaration and waiting for months for a new pr card will be a more tougher situation instead if we somehow contact IRCC Mississauga center and get an update on it or raise a webform will be more helpful as applying a new card through solemn declaration is a big hassle

Yes I totally agree. Webform is useless coz generic reply. I did . They just said raise solemn declaration n if 180 days passed then apply new card. They didn't factor in strike nor the pick up letter which said card is at Mississauga. Useless. Only way is what u said. To call ircc pr Mississauga center. U have Mississauga ircc office number?

Yes same here. But if u Or anyone gets contact number of Mississauga ircc office then do share. Will try n call. The number on google is service Canada I think.

I have to go to india so if the card comes then it’s fine or else when I come back to Canada in March 1st week, I can go and ask them inperson at Mississauga IRCC office. But I believe by then it will come
